Mighty Blaze Children's Ministry
Mighty Blaze started in June 2011 with one goal: "Leading a city to God." We believe the transforming power of Jesus is the only way this city can be changed. At Mighty Blaze we start young. We operate a weekly children's service at the SUM campus in East Oakland. During the week, the pastors visit the children and train them to be more like Jesus. Throughout the year, Mighty Blaze and Points of Light host special events to reach out to the community and the children.
Our core Bible verse is Proverbs 22:6.
Our goal is to mentor and train the children of Oakland while they are young so when they are older, they will continue to follow Jesus and bring forth positive changes in their community.

Mighty Blaze hosts a fun-filled program every Saturday morning which teaches kids the fundamentals of following Jesus.
For the kids who are interested in learning more about the Bible and want to become better leaders, they have the opportunity to join KRAVE. KRAVE stands for Kids Radically Ablazed Vanquishing Evil. KRAVE is the Mighty Blaze discipleship program. In KRAVE, the kids (aka KRAVE Leaders) spend weekly one-on-one time with their district pastors discussing the KRAVE lesson. Once every month, all the KRAVE Leaders gather for an event called KRAVE Unite. During KRAVE Unite, the kids review the teachings of the past month, have a Bible study, and have fun with the Pastors and other KRAVE Leaders. (More about KRAVE) (Back to top)
